Summary:

Age of Learning is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Director to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be leading a team charged with creating original content, managing posts, and analyzing metrics to gauge the success of our social media campaigns. As the voice of our brand on social media, your efforts will directly influence our brand’s reputation, customer engagement, and overall marketing goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Management
    • Lead and direct a cross-functional team of creative talent to develop and maintain a dynamic social media strategy, setting and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Social Media Strategy Development
    • Establish and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms that aligns with organizational goals and brand identity.
    • Identify target audiences and determine the most effective platforms for reaching them.
  • Content Creation
    • Ideate, create, and curate high-quality, engaging content, including text, images, videos, and graphics.
    • Schedule and publish content across social media channels, adhering to a content calendar.
  • Community Engagement
    •  Monitor social media platforms for mentions, comments, and messages.
    • Foster positive relationships with followers and address concerns or issues.
  • Analytics and Reporting
    •  Track and analyze KPIs such as reach, engagement, follower/subscriber counts, and more.
    •  Utilize data-driven insights to adjust the social media strategy for optimal results.
  • Brand Management
    •  Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all social media channels.
  • Trends and Innovation
    • Stay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
    • Experiment with new features and technologies to improve the brand’s social media presence.
  • Collaboration
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creators, and customer support, to align social media efforts with overall marketing strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in directing social media campaigns with significant growth in follower engagement.
  • Strong understanding of various social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creativity and a keen eye for visual content.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing trends and algorithms.
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment.

Total Compensation:

The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $100,000 USD to $140,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
