Description

As a 3D Character Artist, you will need to solve a wide range of problems with well-rounded experience across 3D disciplines, with a specialization in the 3D Character production workflow. 

You deliver tasks on a timely manner, contributing towards the monthly content pushes and milestones. You take accountability of your task from start to end, ensuring the task gets handed over to the next part of production smoothly. You thrive on working collaboratively with the team and practice proactive communicative. You have a natural curiosity for all parts of the creative pipeline and invest time improving your skills.

3D Character Artist will be measured according to the metric below, on a five (5) score rating scale: 

Accountabilities

  • On-time delivery of tasks and time management.
    • Original deadline adhered 90% of the time.
  • Proactive communication of delays and bottlenecks.
    • Potential delays always communicated >2 days ahead of set deadline.
  • Delivery of work according to project specifications and requirements.
    • QA team’s “general” checklist adhered with a pass-rate of >85%
  • Delivery of work according to studio’s quality standards as specified by the discipline lead.
    • Receive approval on tasks with no more than 3 rounds of feedback from the lead.
  • Following instructions and adhering to best practice.
    • QA team’s “non-negotiable” checklist adhered 100% of the time.
  • Time-track daily with a written status update of your task.
    • Daily update on tasks and time-tracking.
  • Improve skills and apply learning from one task to the next.
    • Repeated feedback avoided (<10% of the time)
