Key Responsibilities:

Immediate Project Delivery & Ownership

  • Step into our pipeline on Day One, instantly diagnosing current audio tasks and driving them forward to completion.
  • Own the project’s acoustic identity, translating high-level goals into concrete, actionable audio deliverables.
  • Maintain a laser focus on the game, the schedule, and the product, ensuring swift execution and high-quality deliverables despite tight production deadlines.

Tactical Audio Leadership & Technical Direction

  • Direct and optimize implementation pipelines using Wwise and Unreal Engine, working within existing technical and memory budgets.
  • Oversee and quality-check deliverables from external and internal sound designers, composers, and voice-over partners, ensuring they meet exact technical specifications.
  • Manage and adapt your pipelines and assets quickly as game development priorities shift, solving technical hurdles independently.

Key Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience within games audio, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality audio landscapes for AA+ or AAA titles.
  • 3+ years of experience in an Audio Director role, demonstrating strong vision, creative leadership, and team management.
  • You are an absolute master of your craft; you know exactly what needs to be done, how to implement it, and how to trouble-shoot audio issues independently.
  • Ready to sign a 6-month freelance contract and begin actively working with us immediately.
  • Master-level hands-on experience with Wwise and Unreal Engine pipelines.
  • Professional fluency in English; essential for rapid, clear coordination across our global, fully remote team.
