Take-Two CEO Strauss Zelnick on AI in Gaming: A Tool for Innovation, Not Job Loss

“But in terms of the guardrails, if you mean, you know, not infringing on other people’s intellectual property by, you know, poaching their LLMs, yeah, we’re not going to do that,” he affirmed. He emphasized that violating others’ IP would make it impossible to protect Take-Two’s own intellectual property. “Of course, we’re mindful of what technology we use to make sure that it respects others’ intellectual property and allows us to protect our own.”

Take-Two’s position reflects a broader industry trend—using AI to improve workflows rather than replace human roles.
