<p>At Fortis, we believe that creative is a core driver of player growth. As a Motion Designer, you will play a key role in shaping how players discover and engage with our games through high-impact, performance-driven video content.</p>



<p>You will own the creation and evolution of motion assets across user acquisition and marketing channels, translating gameplay, player motivations, and creative strategy into engaging video ads that drive measurable results. This role sits at the intersection of Creative, User Acquisition, and Product Marketing, requiring both strong craft and a deep understanding of performance.</p>



<p>You will collaborate closely with UA, Product Marketing, and Game Teams to ensure all motion content is aligned with growth objectives, while continuously improving output through experimentation, data, and the integration of AI-driven workflows.</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">What you’ll achieve</h4>

<li>Own the creation of high-performing video creatives across user acquisition, social, and digital channels, driving engagement, conversion, and player acquisition at scale.</li>



<li>Translate gameplay features, player motivations, and creative strategy into compelling motion concepts that resonate with target audiences.</li>



<li>Develop scalable motion templates and workflows to enable efficient production and rapid iteration across campaigns.</li>



<li>Drive a culture of experimentation by exploring new formats, styles, and creative directions, supporting continuous testing and optimization.</li>



<li>Leverage performance data and insights to refine creative approaches, improving results across key metrics such as CTR, CVR, and retention.</li>



<li>Partner closely with UA, Creative Strategists, Product Marketing, and Game Teams to ensure alignment between creative output and broader growth initiatives.</li>



<li>Integrate AI-driven tools into day-to-day workflows, accelerating ideation, production, localization, and iteration while improving overall team efficiency.</li>



<li>Stay ahead of emerging trends, formats, and technologies in motion design and performance marketing, continuously evolving our creative approach.</li>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">What you’ll need to be successful</h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Strong experience in motion design, animation, or performance creative roles, ideally within gaming, mobile, or entertainment environments.</li>



<li>Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Photoshop; experience with 3D tools (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) is a plus.</li>



<li>Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and experience creating assets for user acquisition or paid media campaigns.</li>



<li>Ability to translate creative strategy and insights into engaging, high-performing video content.</li>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">What You&#8217;ll Do:</h4>

<li>Create the look and feel of the game’s user interface including composition, visual hierarchy, typography, color and animation.</li>



<li>Support development by designing menus, interaction flows from wireframes, and storyboards to in-game implementation. Experience with Unreal Engine is beneficial.</li>



<li>Create satisfying and compelling experiences for players through the organizing and structuring of information within the interface to make it easy for players to find what they need.</li>



<li>Work together with designers, artists, engineers, and other relevant stakeholders to develop game features through the lens of the end user experience.</li>



<li>Help make strategic UI design and UX decisions, from launching the game through until the end of a session.</li>

<li>Advanced visual design sensibilities with expert-level understanding of composition, typography, readability, and interactive UI design for games.</li>



<li>Prior game development experience is required, supported by portfolio samples that show shipped or production-ready game UI/UX implementation.</li>



<li>Exceptional understanding of what drives good UX and an intuitive player experience.</li>



<li>Experience creating compelling transitions and animations within the context of UI.</li>



<li>The ability to work autonomously and iterate from initial sketches/comps to final implementation.</li>

<p>Gravity Well is looking for a mid to senior level Animator, someone with a passion for creating compelling character performances for both narrative and gameplay experiences to flesh out a brand new world and IP.</p>



<p>In this role, you will be helping to define who our characters are and how they move. You will work directly alongside our Animation Director and the rest of our amazing team.&nbsp;</p>



<p>If you want to spend your days crafting animations in a unique style, solving interesting narrative and gameplay challenges while bringing an exciting, strange and rewarding world to life for our players, then this is the role for you!</p>



<h4 class="wp-block-heading">What You&#8217;ll Do:</h4>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Create and implement compelling and high quality animation for narrative and gameplay moments.</li>



<li>Participate in Animation reviews to help maintain and improve animation quality and consistency across the project.</li>



<li>Work with the Animation Director, technical art and engineering teams to develop and maintain the animation content pipeline from content creation to engine integration and testing.</li>



<li>Work effectively with narrative, designers, artists, engineers and other team members to implement compelling narrative and gameplay experiences.</li>

<li>Experience in Unreal Engine and the capacity to contribute to the development of an animation pipeline.</li>
