Job Description
The game (Gold Gold Adventure Gold) is a fantasy city builder-god game hybrid, set in an original fantasy world, where you can not control your units directly, you have to motivate them to act. We are targeting PC release first, then tablet/mobile. And no, no NFTs, it’s an old-fashioned pay-get game model. You would be joining 14-person team of artists and programmers.
About the position
We are not interested in interns/fresh graduates at the moment
We are searching for someone to help us market our game (I know, shocking!). It’s a 4-6 months position for now, with possible extension depending on the sales of the project. I mean look at our steam page – we have a nice looking product, in popular niche, with indie spirit, what else could you want?
Well, what we want is someone that can commit to being available for a minimum of 2h every day. As it is a smaller project we are fine with you working with us part-time, but due to dynamic situation and random nature of online marketing opportunities, and the art pipeline we need you to be reachable every day.
Also, we are a small indie studio, so while big-brand-strategies are important, we put a lot of attention on specifics and implementation.
Requirements*
Must haves
- 2+ commercially released games – Required
- Experience setting up ad campaigns – FB/Insta/Reddit/Etc.
- Understanding of modern marketing techniques
- Understanding of Steam marketing – Required.
- Active social media accounts – Required
- Good understanding of TikTok/youtube/twitch/etc.
- Understanding of Photoshop or similar.
- Understanding of statistics – I will check it
- Good communication skills.
- English – Proficient (C1+)
Nice to haves
- Indie games marketing experience.
- Past media experience – Big plus if you have it
- Youtube/Tiktok experience – Any
- Ability to speak DE/JP/ZH/KO/ES – Proficient (C1+)
Normal day
- Marketing stuffs – 80%
- Giving and receiving feedback – 10%
- Meetings – 10%
