In Summary:
We need a Product Owner to join our growing team and help us to continue delivering exceptional Casino experiences across a range of devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in compliance within the gaming industry, particularly in B2C or B2B2C environments and will form part of the Product Team at White Hat Gaming.
As a Product Owner in the compliance space, you will play a key role in enhancing our compliance products and integrations, ensuring that our platforms adhere to industry regulations and standards.
Your day to day:
- Leading an Agile team in delivering and enhancing compliance products and integrations.
- Working closely with the Scrum Master in establishing and developing frameworks, processes, and tools to build and improve the focus on Iterative Product Development
- Continually prioritising and enhancing the Product roadmap, as part of WHG’s Company Roadmap.
- Constantly prioritising incoming work to balance various regulatory, stakeholder and technical inputs.
- Documenting stories and requirements clearly, concisely and appropriately .
- Being an active part of a Scrum team, consisting of Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers, QA and Integrations Engineers; preparing for and contributing fully in all scrum ceremonies to ensure effective delivery of the roadmap.
What we are looking for:
- In-depth knowledge of compliance within the gaming industry, with particular focus on KYC/Verification regulations across UK, Europe, Canada and the USA.
- Experience working with Casino operations.
- A collaborative approach and used to working with different Product Verticals.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable product features.
- 4 years plus of compliance experience within iGaming, preferably in the B2C space.
- Ability to translate company and business strategy into the WHG product vision.
- Ability to identify and mitigate compliance risks associated with product development and implementation.
- A value-focused product approach with a focus on enriching the products.
- Driving innovation, encouraging creativity, and collecting ideas for new propositions to strengthen and develop the product portfolio for the assigned product area whilst also adding business value as well as meeting the customers’ & market’s needs.
- Ability to translate B2C thinking, features and functionality into a packaged B2B offering.
- Working together with other Product Owners, Product Managers and Head of Product to ensure alignment across various strategic dependencies.
- Clearly communicate the product area strategies, roadmap, and planned deliveries to internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide insight to stakeholders and provide insights on key differentiators.
- Manage and own the profitability and commercial success of the designated product area.
Nice to have:
- Understanding of SDLC and, preferably, experience with provider integrations.
- Knowledge/experience of the Scrum framework.
- Experience using Jira/Confluence and similar tools.
- Familiarity with APIs.
- Project or Product Management Certification (PMP, PSM or other)
- Experience and knowledge of Responsible Gambling regulations across UK, Europe, Canada, and the USA.
