Senior Atlassian Administrator

Job Description

We’re on the hunt for an experienced Senior Atlassian Administrator to join our new and growing team!

We are a company building world class online casino games and we are looking for someone who can lead an organisational change encompassing a migration, people, process and technology.

This is a key role in implementing new ways of working alongside our Engineering and Product Team in optimising our Atlassian suite to enhance productivity and collaboration across the organisation.

You will manage and administer Jira and Confluence, including user permissions, project workflows, and integrations. Collaborating with stakeholders, you will gather requirements, troubleshoot user issues, and discover innovative automation solutions that align with both product and engineering needs.

The Senior Atlassian Administrator will be working alongside and reporting directly into our Transformation Manager to transform a whole engineering process.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Administer and manage Jira Confluence, including users, permissions, projects, workflows, custom fields, filters and dashboards, add-ons and integrations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand Jira & Confluence needs and implement them.
• Creating comprehensive documentation and delivering technical training to empower employees and new joiners.
• Gather requirements related to business process workflows or related to process improvement identifying where functionalities could or could not be implemented.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide support to users.
• Discover & maximise all automation possibilities for both enterprise and corporate technology use-cases.
• Create and maintain detailed technical and user facing documentation.

ABOUT YOU

• Extensive knowledge in administering Atlassian Jira and Confluence, with rich experience in Atlassian Cloud products, including Automation for Jira, Advanced Roadmaps, Scriptrunner, and Jira Workflow Toolbox.
• Demonstrable experience in Groovy scripting, combined with a strong desire to learn and enhance scripting skills.
• Proven ability to implement processes and solve complex problems, while effectively managing multiple responsibilities and tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Great communication and documentation skills, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively, and an open-minded approach to learning and supporting new applications within the team.
