Mighty Yeti Studios is a creator-owned indie animation studio specializing in kids and family entertainment. We’re on the lookout for a talented Social Media Associate to collaborate with our creative team on various exciting projects. All positions are remote freelance/part-time independent contractor roles.

Role Overview:

As a Social Media Associate at Mighty Yeti Studios, you will have the opportunity to build our online presence across various social media platforms. Your creativity and passion for animation will play a crucial role in engaging our audience and enhancing our brand visibility.

Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop captivating content for social media platforms, including graphics, animations, and other elements, aligned with project goals.
  • Social Media Management: Execute project-specific social media strategies to maximize brand awareness and engagement. Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions during the project duration.
  • Audience Engagement: Implement creative campaigns and strategies to encourage user participation, adapting to the unique aspects of each project.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Track and analyze social media performance metrics specific to each project. Provide concise project reports with insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Animation: A love for animation, characters, family entertainment, and storytelling.
  • Social Media Expertise: Proven experience managing social media accounts for brands or creative projects on a freelance or ongoing basis. Familiarity with platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, and Facebook. WordPress/website design skills a plus.
  • Creative Skills: Proficiency in graphics tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) for creating visually appealing content. Video editing skills a big plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to adapt the tone and style of content to suit different projects and audiences.
  • Flexibility: Comfort with a project-based, freelance work structure. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
