Join our passionate and creative game development team! We’re on the lookout for a talented Senior UI/UX Designer who can bridge the gap between design and development, crafting engaging and intuitive user interfaces for our players.

About the Role
As a Junior UI/UX Game Designer, you will support the creation of engaging and intuitive user experiences for our games. Working closely with developers, artists, and senior designers, you will help design and implement UI elements that enhance gameplay and accessibility. This role is perfect for someone passionate about game design, eager to learn, and interested in working with Unity’s front-end systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • User-Centric Design:
    • Conduct thorough user research to understand preferences and behaviors.
    • Analyze player feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Interface Mastery:
    • Craft visually stunning interfaces for an enhanced gaming experience.
    • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar.
    • Ensure consistency throughout the game interface.
  • Intuitive Navigation:
    • Define seamless user flows and logical navigation paths.
    • Design user-friendly menus, buttons, and navigation systems.
  • Accessibility Champion:
    • Implement inclusive design elements for players with disabilities.
    • Consider color contrast, font readability, and accessibility guidelines.
  • Tools Requirement:
    • Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools, and Figma for high-concept mockups.
  • Integrators/Front-End Wizards:
  • Design Fusion:
    • Infuse dynamic animations and transitions for an immersive gaming journey.
    • Merge UI/UX design expertise with hands-on Unity front-end development skills.
  • Player-Centric Playtesting:
    • Actively engage in playtesting to observe user interaction with the UI.
    • Use playtesting insights to refine and elevate user interface design.
  • Tools Requirement:
    •  Proficiency in Unity.

Requirements

  • Must have contributed to the release of at least one completed game, demonstrating hands-on experience in the development cycle.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a range of UI/UX work in different game genres or styles.
  • Proficiency in Unity, including experience with both frontend and backend workflows.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes using design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with developers and artists.

Nice-to-Have

  • Understanding of accessibility in gaming UI/UX design.
  • Proficiency in motion design software
  • Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C#, to work closely with developers.
  • Has 3D experience using Blender and implementation on Unity
