|How to Get a Pickaxe in The Forge
Every player begins The Forge with a free Stone Pickaxe, which is strong enough to mine the earliest rocks and get you started. As you progress through the tutorial, the game leads you to Miner Fred’s shop in Stonewake’s Cross, where you can purchase your first real upgrades, including the Bronze, Iron, Golden, and Platinum pickaxes.
Some pickaxes aren’t sold in shops, though, Stonewake’s Pickaxe is hidden deep inside Inner Cave, while the powerful Arcane Pickaxe requires unlocking the Fallen Angel’s Cave using a key found during the Bard’s Guitar quest.
